Cedar Mill’s Huge Expantsion

With the fast expansion taking place in the Cedar Mill area, Polygon NW has teamed up with Gramor Development Inc. to complete commercial development around Polygon’s 1,100 homes and apartments. The 90,000-sqaure-foot shopping center will provide the communities with high-end retail service within a short walking distance.

Timberland construction begins in August with the center slated to open in late 2014. The Beaverton Planning Commission approved the development plan earlier this month.

Home Sales In The West Are Booming!

With the economy making a comeback a few staggering questions arise when thinking about purchasing a home. When should I buy, where should I buy and can I afford my purchase? Now more then ever with the availability of the Internet more people are doing their own research and this great article addresses several key aspects of purchasing a home. Here are a few highlights touched on by the A.P.

With a steady upswing in job creation and some of the lowest mortgage rates in years, confidence among Americans indicates that now is the time to buy! New Home sales rose almost 16 percent in January – the largest jump in roughly 20 years. Amidst all of these home purchases, there are only 150,000 New Homes for sale, the lowest number since 1963. As cliché as it sounds, the most well known phrase in real estate is “location, location, location”, with that being said the biggest gain in new home sales was in the West by a landslide at 45.3 percent. Leaving the rest of home sales, in the Northeast 27%, Midwest 11% and the South at 3%, in the dust!

Why Ryan Anderson Loves his Polygon Home

Homes listed for sale are at the lowest level in 5 years!

According to an article by Nick Timiraos of the Wall Street Journal, housing market sales are in steady incline- leaving the number of homes listed for sale at the lowest level in the past 5 years. Inventories nationwide are down in the nations leading markets which include, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Optimistically, this small inventory should not affect the market negatively due to the continued widespread housing development. With that in mind, Polygon Northwest is leading the region with new and affordable, luxury homes.
